Official Dress for FFA members

Official Dress for Women:


  • Black skirt or black dress slacks. (No jeans - blue or black, leather, pleather, leggings, etc.)
  • Skirt is to be at least knee length, hemmed evenly across the bottom, with a slit no longer that two inches above the knee, excluding the kick pleat.
  • White collared blouse
  • Official FFA blue scarf
  • Black dress shoes with a closed heel and toe (No sandals, tennis shoes, etc. Shoes may not have sequins, sparkles, or any other accessories. Black dress boots may be worn with slacks only)
  • Black nylon hosiery with skirts or black socks with slacks
  • An official FFA jacket zipped to the top

Official Dress for Men:


  • Black dress slacks (No jeans, leather, pleather, etc.)
  • White dress shirt
  • Official FFA necktie.  
  • Black dress shoes with closed heel and toe.
  • Black dress boots are acceptable. 
  • Black socks
  • An official FFA jacket zipped to the top. The collar should be turned down, and the cuffs buttoned.

  • Official garb of recognized religions may be worn with Official Dress.
  • Appropriate dress will be expected for all Career Development Events not requiring official dress. Any member wearing inappropriate, offensive, or explicitly prohibited clothing may be disqualified from the event. Prohibited wear is below:
  1. Attire must not contain indecent or improper messages (alcohol, tobacco, sexual reference, foul language, etc.)
  2. No low-cut shirts or tops, bare midriffs, strapless or thin strapped shirts allowed.
  3. Shirts must cover the entire stomach, shoulders, chest and back
  4. Sleeves must be at least 2 inches in width (approx. 3 finger width)
  5. Shorts, dresses, and skirts must be no higher than fingertip length when arms are at side. No saggy pants allowed
