Receiving Your Scholarship
If you are selected as a state scholarship recipient, you must complete the following to receive your award:
To be eligible for a New Mexico FFA Scholarships, applicants must:
- Be a member in good standing in the New Mexico FFA Association
- Have been a dues paying member for a minimum of two years
- Have a 2.5 high school GPA
- Must meet eligibility requirements listed on the individual scholarship.
Receiving Your Scholarship
If you are selected as a state scholarship recipient, you must complete the following to receive your award:
- Provide the state FFA office with a copy of the “thank you” letter sent to the scholarship donor
- Scholarship monies will be awarded on a per semester basis
- To receive the first half, submit to the state FFA office proof of enrollment in at least 12 credit hours of instruction (i.e. class schedule) at a secondary educational institution
- To receive the second half , submit to the state FFA office documentation showing you have maintained a minimum 2.5 GPA during the first semester
