“With more than 700,170 FFA members in 8,612 chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, the National FFA Organization has a strong presence as the largest student-led organization in the nation.” -The National FFA Organization
New Mexico FFA contributes over 3,000 FFA members in almost 80 chapters to the national organization! To lead our Association, New Mexico FFA relies on the Board of Trustees and the annually elected State FFA Officer Team to oversee the development of operating policies and procedures. New Mexico FFA Staff implements their recommendations.
New Mexico FFA Board of Trustees
The New Mexico FFA Board of Trustees is the governing body of the association made up of current agricultural educators from across the state. Guided by the FFA mission and experience gained in the field, the Board of Trustees works to make decisions that advance opportunities for New Mexico FFA members and secure the future of our Association.
Each year, the New Mexico FFA Association elects eight student members to represent the association as state officers. State officers serve the association on a local and state level through their interactions with members, teacher, sponsors, and community members. The State Officer Team fills a vital role as they inspire, inform, and advocate for our student membership through workshops and speeches. State FFA officers are selected by a nominating committee and delegates at the New Mexico FFA State Convention each year. Meet this years State Officers!
