Hall of Fame
The Agriculture Teachers Association of New Mexico Hall of Fame exists to recognize and honor agricultural science teachers whose careers, achievements, and contributions stand exemplary. Inductees are known as well-rounded professionals that have proven their success with FFA activities, in the classroom, as well as community involvement. They have proven their desire to provide students with opportunities for premier leadership, personal growth and career success over a significant period of time.

Criteria for Selection
- Nominees must be retired from teaching for at least one year to be eligible for induction. (Committee reserves the right to look over all applications and to make exceptions to this rule under extreme circumstances).
- Nominees are not eligible for induction in the same year that they retire from teaching.
- Nominations must be accompanied by a $1,000 donation to the Agriculture Teachers Association Scholarship Fund (NMAETA).
- Nominee must have taught at least 10 years in New Mexico to be eligible.
- Nominations may be made by any person(s) who ever had contact with the nominee.
- Nominations must include a complete application.
- Nominations must include a formal letter of nomination outlining the reasons for this teacher being considered. Please limit submissions to a length of one page.
- The Nomination deadline will be May 1st. Recognition and induction will take place each year at the annual State FFA Convention. (Late fee of $2500 if not turned in by deadline.)
