Estancia Municipal School District is recruiting an Ag Teacher/Intern to support and help expand the district’s current successful Ag Program. Qualifications include a minimum of 1 – 4 years in the agriculture and farming industry and/or experience as an Ag Teacher; a desire to be part of a team; knowledge and experience in ag mechanics and construction; strong interpersonal and organizational skills; experience with/background in FFA (judging, competing, coaching, etc.); passion for agriculture and farm focused education; desire to make difference in students’ lives through in-person and online instruction, hands-on learning projects, and FFA activities. Willingness to balance the existing instructional team under direction of the department head while completing requirements for an experience-based NM licensure pathway. Trained and currently licensed applicants are also encouraged to apply. This is a twelve month position; salary is determined by experience and licensure.
